So i understand that the concealed carry laws in California prohibit most from getting the permit. So this goes down in LA:https://ift.tt/2TFeffE sure the shooter did not have the permit (there are other articles on this) and he prob didn't have it locked in his trunk. he did the right thing and protected his gf. however, legally, he could have been busted on the permit issue. however, i could not find any further news on this case. (as with most homicide news, there is little to no follow up. a huge problem with the media)i'm assuming he got a minor citation or no punishment at all? are there any police officers or legal experts that can comment on this? is it better for ppl to just break the law and carry without a permit if you're likely to be let off for situations where you really needed the weapon? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2TMZo2S
