If I were pulled over in Michigan, after disclosing my CPL & carry status, does the officer have the right to seize my pistol?

I was curious if a scenario like this were to arise, can the officer legally seize my weapon after I disclosed my license and carry status? If so, where can I find the legal justification for this. If not, where could I also find the legal justification for that.Edit: I just want to know that if that situation arose and the officers tension wasn't high, would it be legally possible for me to refuse such a seizure?
