My wife took the kid to the usual after school activity. Right away, she spotted a guy carrying. My wife spotted him. I carry an SP01, and she asks me if I'm carrying. Dude was carrying some sort of .380 (wife doesn't really know handguns beyond auto vs revolver).She asked him if he had a carry permit. GA is pretty carry friendly and the place they were is very friendly with Law Shield and GA Carry so it wasn't a big deal. He was surprised that he'd been made, and my wife wasn't pitching a fit. She told him her husband carried. He was surprised she was okay with that. When she told him she has a permit, he was really shocked. He was completely unaware of the ccw community we have in GA.I'm going to go to the next activity and have a quiet chat so he knows the support and educational opportunities at hand. Might even get you a new member /u/southernbenz. I'd love to see him walk into a BBQ joint where most of the staff and customers are armed.Haven't met the guy, but he sounds like a good guy.
