I just bought a Rex Zero 1, which is a very new gun that only debuted in 2015 (I believe). Because it is fairly obscure, it pretty much doesn't have any aftermarket besides the stuff that's provided by the manufacturer. There are maybe 4-5 holster options out there, all made by the same company. For those of you who make your own holsters:How big is the startup cost? It looks like the only tools I really need are a knife, an oven, and a screwdriver. How many attempts did it take you to create a holster that you consider trustworthy enough to EDC when you started?Do you carry IWB with your homemade holster? Did you add some sort of backing?I know that there are at least a few companies out there that you can ship your gun off to and they'll make a holster for it, but it seems a bit silly for me to give a company my gun and money for a holster with lord knows how much lead time. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2p0GZSl
