So I'm getting ready to apply for my CCL soon and had a question for those of you that have gotten yours. I've heard that you have to sign a waiver granting them permission to look into your medical records, is that true? I was diagnosed with bi polar disorder over 8 years ago while I was in the military. I've had firearms since I was 18 and lived In the great state of Texas. I got a foid card once I moved to IL (not by choice, wife is from here) so I could keep possession of my firearms, and had no problem getting it. Is there a chance I could be denied for a CCL.
