Hey All,Finally bought a new carry piece, a Rock Island 3.5" 1911. I get it out of gun jail next Friday (yay California!) Up till now I have been carrying my competition model XDm 5.25" .45acp.I do a lot of multi-hour road trips in my miata, and I have yet to find a comfortable place to carry while driving. up to now I have been locking it in a safe under my seat and removing my holster for comfort. Now that I have a new toy I am debating getting something like a shoulder holster or something else along those lines for my new 1911.
