Encounter with angry dog.

So the wife and I were talking our dogs for a walk around a nearby neighborhood after dark. All is well until we pass a house whose front door and yard gate are wide open. Cue angry dog bolting from the house into the street barking pretty aggressively. I handed my wife our dogs leash and pushed her behind me while I tried to calm the dog and placed my hand on my ccw preparing to draw. Talking calmly didn't work so my wife decided to use her mom voice. BAD DOG! GO HOME! Luckily it worked.
