Virginia concealed carry permit and knifes/swords.

So I am a martial artist and train not only in empty handed styles but I also practice sword and knife styles.In Virginia it is fine for me to carry my sword and knifes around as long as they are clearly visible as they are covered by Virginia's open carry laws.However carrying a basket hilt broadsword on a frog down the street gets nervous looks and I am sure it's only a matter of time before I have to have a chat with a police officer so I was wondering.Does Virginia's concealed carry permit ONLY cover guns? or if I took the concealed carry course would I legally be able to conceal carry knifes/swords I would normally be allowed to open carry?I understand I can't take legal advice hear just trying to look for information / resources to investigate further on this or if this is barking up the wrong tree as it were in terms of how to go about resolving this "potential issue" via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1TG3J2N
