City owned lake in Texas

So, I was looking to get back into fishing after a long hiatus and thought I might go out to the lake and camp out for the weekend and fish.Went to the website for the lake, and under rules and regulations they have a big notice that Firearms are prohibited on the property.This lake is owned and operated by the city that I live in. No Army Corp of Engineers involved whatsoever. This by definition makes it government owned, and not on the prohibited places list, therefore they cannot ban concealed carry right?I'm thinking that's just aimed at keeping drunk yahoos from bringing guns out there and being unsafe and doesn't apply to CHL holders. I'm going to contact the city and see what they say, just wanted to double check my interpretation of the law. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/24miP0w
