CCW at the Post Office?

My question is more of a meta question. I keep seeing people ask questions about whether/if they should disclose to others about the fact that they carry, or if they carry in certain locations, stores etc which are posted "no guns", and a common response is "concealed is concealed". So then I, like every other CCW holder, at some point think about the Post Office. It's a Federal offense to carry on Post Office property, so the standard response with any of those discussions is "just don't do it", which is correct and understandable. Ok. So now I get into the iffy part of my post. Am I the only one who has, on occasion, had to go to the PO and had my CCW weapon (as usual), and thought to myself, "Jeez, I'm only buying postage for this weird size letter that I'm not comfortable guessing the rate for myself, would it really matter if I have my gun on me? I mean, it's concealed, I'm standing in line for two minutes and then I'm outta there, who'd know?". But it's obviously, ILLEGAL, so I would NEVER actually do that. Standard disclaimer. And there's the problem. I'd like to know how many other people have the same kind of thoughts, or even actually carry at the PO, but if you ask the question online, all you'll get is people telling you that it's a Federal pound-you-in-the-ass offense, never do it, don't be an idiot etc, and that's it. Nobody in their right mind would admit to ever doing it, for fear of being tracked down by their online postings and prosecuted (if that's even a thing, I have no idea, but we all fear it, let's be honest). So, my question... is kinda fuzzy, but I guess it boils down to, How do you even talk about something like this? Something that I'd warrant most, if not all people have probably thought about if they were to be 100% honest. How can you talk about that at all, if nobody feels they can honestly express an opinion, when even using a completely anonymous handle can theoretically get you tracked down? Is it possible to have that type of online discussion? Or are we forever condemned to the usual "Just don't do it, duh" type responses? Ok, I'll just come out and ask the question: Has anyone carried at the Post Office, with full knowledge that they were breaking the law and could go to jail over it? Did you do it anyway, just because you thought "nothing will happen, concealed is concealed, nobody would even notice"? Or does everybody here actually comply with every stupid law 100%? Just curious. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1Qw1yZ3
