I teach in an elementary school. Since in prohibited areas, you can carry in your vehicle. When I go to school, can I lock my CCW in a box under my seat, lock my vehicle and go to school? I know federal law is the only thing that trumps state laws and federally you cannot carry within 1000ft of a school, unless your CCW permit allows you to.
