I finally got my T-Rex Arms Sidecar rig after 9 weeks of waiting (there were some issues with my account and then it got lost in my rural area post office for 4 days). I began carrying immediately, and it was clear that this was gonna be what I use every day. I'm just gonna name the main points I like with it.Driving - As long as I hike my pants up a bit as I'm getting in the driver's seat, it stays out of the way of the boys. I have a short torso, so my grip sits right over my belly button. No discomfort, just a little sweat (I'm in South GA).On/Off - I am a college student, so I have to disarm myself when on campus. I used to use a Vedder Light Tuck, and it was great for slipping on and off in the car. The Sidecar takes a couple more steps, but still goes on quickly. I wear a Liger Gunbelt, so I just slide the buckle through the loops to my 9 o'clock. The holster clips right in even with the odd orientation of the Raptor Claw.Drawing - More about appendix carry itself, but I'm finally able to get all 3 fingers on the front of the grip while it's in the holster. I have really large hands. I also took a page from Lucas's (CEO) book and started putting my thumb on the rear sight as I get a grip on it, and it makes a huge difference. I also noticed that finding my holster after firing is much easier since I can feel the holster with my stomach.Retention - I've seen where people have said there's not a solid click when holstering, and there isn't. But that gun still isn't coming out of there. However, the magazine portion of the holster is loose, but due to the way it sits, there's very little chance of it falling out with daily activities. And when I bend over, my body presses it into the holster, securing it.Overall, I love it. The only other con I have are the fact that I have to do the awkward tent hug or good old Christian Side hug when I see friends. I may try their Raptor holster for a smaller rig, but for now the Sidecar works really well for me. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1Y8to3e
