I ALMOST signed up when I took my CCW permit class this Summer. I’ve been back and forth in my mind for months thinking about it. It seems like if I am involved in a self-defense shooting situation that it will be an absolute lifesaver. Just for context (not bragging), my family has deep roots in oil money and I have almost unlimited access to funds. Despite that I am in nursing school and I am very frugal and dead-set on creating MY OWN success and fulfillment. If I get sued from some scumbag for defending myself they would hit the lottery from me in a civil suit. I’ve read time and time again that the odds of ever using my revolver are almost nil.
