I want to preface this post by saying both products I am going to talk about were purchased by me for full price with no contact with the manufacturers now that that is out of the way here we go.I picked up a mantis x about 2 years ago to help me with my dry fire and live fire practice. I've loved it since I got it and have definitely noticed a huge improvement from when I first started using it. It is a great device by itself however I have also found another product that paired with the mantis x makes in my opinion is the ultimate dry fire practice setup for when your either to busy to visit the range or like right now when the majority of things are closed. The second item is called the dry fire mag I have no clue how I came across it but I ordered one a few days ago got it super quickly and have been using it paired with my mantis x for about 3 days now and I have to say that for dry fire practice this is just an amazing setup. The Dry Fire mag is only available for a select amount of handguns right now, but I have no clue on what else they might be cooking up.Now a bit about the gun I carry to give some background. I carry a Glock 19 Gen 5 with an apex trigger and trigger bar, a Ghost Inc. spring kit (4lb firing pin spring and low power safety plunger spring) & a 3.5 edge connector. My trigger weight is around 4lbs 7oz the reason I mention this is because the dry fire mag is defaulted at 5.5lbs of spring weight however you can select a optional spring kit for it. They have a a competition kit and a training kit. I opted for the training kit as I prefer my trigger pull weight on the low side as I said above my glock is around 4 and half pounds and for my dear hunting rifle my trigger weight is around 1 and a half pounds. The competition kit came with a bunch of different weight springs to closely match your trigger weight. In short buy a mantis x and a dry fire mag and use them a lot. I have noticed a huge improvement since purchasing both of these items and I feel like the Dry Fire Mag is a pretty unknown item. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2WBp1Vz
