I bought pistol legally in ND at store with just driver license since I was a resident there.Drove to Upstate NY with pistol where I though I could just put it on my NY permit that I've had for 30 years. I also live in NY.When I went to office to put on my permit, they said it needed to be sent dealer to dealer. Now the only option I am hearing is to turn it in to sheriff and they will eventually give it back to me with document.
