Carrying a 1911 with grip safety and FPB in condition 0 vs M&P

How is this any different? The M&P has a drop safety on the trigger, the 1911 has its drop safety on the grip. They both have FPBs so the firing pin won't drop unless the trigger is pulled. The often debated point is the short trigger pull on the 1911. The M&P may have a longer trigger pull but the striker is still cocked to 98% unlike a Glock's 70% or so. When you add an aftermarket trigger like an Apex to the M&P it shortens the trigger pull and weight significantly, wouldn't this be equivalent to carrying a 1911 in condition 0?I don't want to debate the potential legal aspects of aftermarket triggers in carry guns via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2Xmo457
