So, suppose I'm going to the local gas station to pick up an Arizona Iced tea. While I'm at the back getting that delicious nectar, a man comes in and tries to rob the store. He has a gun, concealing his face and acting violent. What would I do? I'm carrying, and he has no idea I'm there.Do I draw my gun and attempt to act like police; "freeze, drop the gun" ext. Or do I just pretend like I'm not there, watching to see if he escalates?Personally, I don't think I would intervene unless he fires his weapon, I would just stay in the back with my firearm drawn, watching. But if the attendant was shot I would feel pretty bad knowing I could have stopped it. On the other hand, I don't want to take a life over the max $100 in the drawer, or put myself in a position where I would be shot at...How should a bystandard act in situations like this? Even if it's witnessing a mugging, or a sidewalk brawl where a weapon is present? I know you shouldn't act unless your life is threatened, but morally, if you could stop someone (innocent) elses death, would you? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2HOT4ol
