Hey all, so in MI you have to be 21 to buy a handgun and conceal carry, and in our neighboring states that is true as well, I'm not sure if that's federal law or varies by state, however what is your opinion on this? I think it should be 18, my reasoning is at 18 your considered a legal adult, you need to do the things other adults do. You have to go to the store alone, the ATM, your in the same situations as everyone else but you are not granted the same rights to self protection.
