I am just getting into CCW and will be applying for my license tomorrow. I’m a bit overwhelmed with holster choice, and have no idea what position I would wear at. (IWB I am assuming.)The other day at my LGS/range, I was recommended a holster line by a local guy who is a member at my range. They are Kydex and have a nice snappy retention (I was picking up my carry gun so he let me try it).My question is should I go with a local company for my first try? The customer service could be “hey meet me at the range” even though he has an established website and online ordering and such.
