I'm curious if anyone knows of any good statistics that are reliable and unbiased.I see NRA espousing 2.5 million DGUs a year or something like thatthen I see the left say 0.1% of crimes are stopped by a good guy with a gun. What I want and what I believe would be a meaningful statistic to find (if they're ever gathered) would be to see how many people who were victims of crime had a gun and employed it in their defense. These victim MUST be present during the commission of the crime. It does no good to say 99% of people whose homes are burglarized don't defend themselves with a gun because 90% of them aren't even home when they're burglarized.I hope yall can help me or at least point me in the right direction. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1SmIOmm
