This is a scenario I run in my head all the time. I live in SD so if someone is in my garage trying to steal my truck I'll be poking holes without even blinking. BUT, let's say I come out of a movie and there is someone in the process of breaking into/is already in my truck. My life may not be in danger (unless they try and run me over) but my property is.
