Shot a few different guns tonight | My thoughts

I'm fairly new to guns, I moved from NY to MO 10 months ago and caught the freedom fever. During this time I've read as much as possible and shot whenever possible.I first bought a Springfield XD Mod.2 9mm. Very well built gun and remarkable craftsmanship, just too heavy for me. I sold that after 6 months to purchase a Smith & Wesson MP9C (in FDE). I've also purchased a Gen2 LCP for pocket carry. Now, lately I've been telling myself I'd like to sell the M&P for a Glock G26. Naturally I'm a guy who likes to buy, sell, trade and try everything (not limited to guns). On Wednesdays a local range offers $9 lanes and free gun rentals. Perfect, now I can shoot all sorts of things, cool. Here is a run down of what I shot, and my thoughts.Glock G26 Gen4: I shot the G26 Gen4 first, and along side my MP9C. Great gun, I enjoyed it. It is not nearly as comfortable as the M&P, BUT, I was naturally more accurate with it. I would consider swapping my M&P for one, though the M&P felt more "stout" in my hand. I'm now more confused than when I started.Glock G19 Gen4: This thing is huge (never held one before). Everything I've read says the G19 and the MP9C are comparable in size, well they're wrong. The MP is a much, much more compact pistol. Nice gun, but not something I could see myself owning, the MP can cover all the same bases in a smaller package.Glock G43: Cool gun, not for me. I did not shoot well with it, it isn't small enough (for me) to pocket carry. If I were to venture into the single stack 9mm world, I would be looking at the XDS. I only shot 7 rounds, and brought it back, that was enough for me.Sig P320: Awesome gun, big and burly, very tough feeling. Shot very soft, though the trigger, to me, was too light to carry chambered (granted this gun has been fired a bajillion times). I would consider owning one in the future.I'm trying hard to catch the Glock Flu, but it's not sticking. I do appreciate and respect the glocks and will someday add one to the rotation. I will shoot the 26 more, and maybe swap the MP for one. There's some unbiased ramblings from a newb!Enjoy via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1qSPsoy
