Saw a thread from about 3 years ago from a man who bought a $3500 officer-length SVI and carries it every day.People were saying he was crazy for carrying such an expensive gun -- what happens if it breaks/you lose it, if the cops steal it, people accuse you of having an "extra-lethal-custom-murder-machine", etc.How do you folks feel about this argument? As non-circle-jerkily as possible, I feel these are all kind of dumb points. My carry gun is also very expensive, but I feel that its value is a small price to pay for a tool that will perform perfectly on the ONE day of my entire life that I need it to help me survive.Does a mountain climber buy cheap carabiners? Does a racecar driver buy cheap helmets/neckbraces? Does a cable lineman buy a cheap Faraday suit? What do you guys think? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1Wf0Qqu
