I could use some advice on starting to carry a concealed firearm.

Hello /r/CCW,For legal clarity, I live in Alaska where there is legal open carry and concealed carry without a permit. AK residents can obtain a permit. I turn 21 this week, and have a firearm on hold at my LGS for the big day(Glock 27 gen 3). I was raised in a firearm friendly household with my family being both in the police force and military. I practice on a monthly basis, and have been educated from a young age as to proper firearm procedures. I have my full carry setup including a gun belt, kydex holster & mag pouch, and flashlight. I plan to obtain my CCW permit, but due to class availability, I cannot take the class till July. My question is, should I begin carrying this week, or should I wait until I receive my permit? My main concern is if I get pulled over or in a similar situation with law enforcement, would I look less responsible by not having a permit.Thanks for your input! via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1RBpIqa
