So I've been carrying my G19 AIWB for a few weeks now, and I like many aspects of appendix carry so far, but I have yet to figure out a very efficient system for using the bathroom.I'm a lefty and I have the gun positioned at like 11:45 - just barely offset from the center of my body.Pissing isn't too bad because I can just slide the whole holster and gun over, unzip my zipper, and whip it out then slide it back over when I'm done. Easy.Shitting on the other hand, I have yet to find an efficient system. I'm wearing a volund g-hook belt with the buckle offset way over to the left out of the way of everything. So I've been unhooking the hook, pulling the whole holster out of my pants, awkwardly holding it in my hand while trying to unbutton and unzip my pants with my other hand, then pull it all down and put the gun in the holster inside my pants under my boxers. Not super easy but not rocket science either.Putting it back on is another story - trying to do all that in reverse is so awkward, and today I found out that (thank God) the drop safety does indeed work on the Glock. Also thankfully no one else was in the bathroom at the time to hear it and question what was going on. I usually can do it without dropping shit but it's awkward enough trying to pull my pants up with one hand and fasten my belt while holding the gun in my other hand that it was bound to happen.Anyone have this figured out better and care to share some knowledge? Carrying strong side IWB I've never had this issue because I could just undo my belt and pants and pull them down like normal. AIWB makes it so hard because the gun is in the way of everything so I pretty much have to take it off entirely to drop my pants. If anyone is wondering I'm carrying in a standard incog currently using one clip. Currently waiting on an Eidolon to try as well.I'm seriously considering just getting a stealthgear and going back to strongside IWB and calling it a day if I can't figure this out haha. It's a shame though because AIWB seems to conceal pretty well and the weapon is more accessible and it's not uncomfortable to me at all. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1NeHiuZ
