So I'm buying a p30sk as my first conceal carry gun (not first handgun). My only question now is what safety option I should go with. They offer:DA/SA with decocker and safetyDA/SA with decockerDA only with their LEM trigger (law enforcement modification) which basically just means a 5.4 pound consistent trigger pull. Now I own a glock 22 so I'm used to no safety (so to speak) but getting a ccw gun with no safety sort of makes me nervous. Now I've never carried so I could be over thinking this but I want to be as safe as I can. My worry somehow the trigger gets caught on something while holster in real fast or something and BOOM negligent discharge. I know its about practice so I feel I can overcome that worry but it still sits in the back of my head. What keeps me coming back to the LEM version is the consistency of the trigger (similar to my glock) and knowing that the "safety" of the gun is the length of the tripper pull. I also think it would be best to not have a safety or decocker to fumble with if a self defense situation were to occur (I hope to God it never does).TLDR; which version of the HK p30sk should a new concealed carrier get? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1SslSyV
