I'm a Georgia Resident with a CCL whose considering taking a road trip down to Florida. I'm planning to carry while driving down.I've read up on the law and confirmed that Florida recognizes my Georgia License and found that Florida fully recognizes a Georgia License.I've taken a glance at the laws in Florida and things seem to mostly check out. But since this is the first time I am traveling while carrying I simply wanted to make sure about several things first:As a Georgia Resident with a CC License, am I completely free to carry/place my loaded, chambered handgun anywhere in the vehicle/on my person while driving?I see that Florida has no duty to inform but requires that you informing if the police officer asks. But in order to prevent any misunderstandings, how should I react during a traffic stop? The two solutions (Quietly handing in your CCL with your DL vs. Not mentioning you're carrying unless asked) both seem good. Which one would cause the least trouble with officers in Florida? Are officers in Florida generally cool and experienced with handling CCWers and thus less likely to get nervous?Any other nuances of Florida Law I should be aware of?(And finally, I'm posting this thread knowing full well not everyone here is a lawyer. Just wanted some input of some sort from those living in Florida/have experience with Florida.)Thanks in advance! via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1SiYlAq
