Just a heads up, for anyone waiting or about to apply. My wife had her interview March 2nd at the sheriff's office, and her card arrived in the mail today (April 6th).I am super proud of her. She took the class in 2008 with a great friend of mine who is an amazing instructor. She's carried off and on for awhile (Lc9s pro when out and about, P94 at home), but recent home invasions in nicer neighborhoods and a mugging in the parking lot mid day at a local Target she has shopped at by herself with the kids regularly (along with my constant "prodding") was enough to get her onboard finally.
