So I’m almost 17 in Texas and as you all well know the government has told me that I can’t get a concealed carry license till I’m 21. As a law abiding citizen I will follow this law of course, but recently I’ve stumbled upon vehicular carry. As I understand it, as long as your firearm is concealed and the vehicle is under your control it is completely legal to have a firearm in your car. The only problem is, Texas doesn’t clarify how old you have to be in order for this to apply to you. I grew up with firearms, know them throughly, respect firearms, and wouldn’t ever anything reckless or pull it when it wasn’t absolutely necessary. I’m just worried that if I get pulled over the police might either not know that law, or might get the wrong impression from my age that will lead to me getting a fine or something on my record. So if any of you can help it would be greatly appreciated! via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/30KbBtE
