Hi, I am worried about self defense, since I dont live in a good neighbourhood. In winter months I am basicaly always wearing a coat, so I was thinking if it gives me an advantage in engagement (its thick so maybe a bit of protection from slashes) or if there is some way to utilise the fact. And if for example, I can see that there is going to be trouble beforhand, should I take it of to ease my movement and maybe throw it at the enemy for confusion? I am glad for any and all answers.
