When I started, my first gun was an HK USP Compact 9mm. I figured I wanted my first gun to be the only one I'd ever need. The USP is tough as nails, eats whatever you feed it and is always ready for more. When i got it, it was the first gun I ever handled. It billed itself as "Compact". Little did I know, it was not a true compact gun, I wouldn't find that out till got my hands on other guns.My next carry gun was a Springfield XD-E 9mm 3.3". I never really carried it that often. I got it because it was a great deal and I wanted to stick with DA/SA with safety. It's a solid gun, just doesn't have the same prestige as a USP, so I'm not inclined to carry it that often. After that was a Glock 42 with a killer Cerekote job, I bought that one mainly for my wife. Which she ended up liking a lot. If she didn't end up liking it, it was going to be another carry choice. After that. I wanted a gun that was a USP but smaller than even the Compact. I ended up getting the HK P30sks V3. This is my main carry gun at this point. HK DA/SA, the smallest one they offer in that platform.I always wanted a 1911, or at the very least a single action type gun. So I bought a Springfield 911 .380. Never carried it, because my wife ended up liking it. Yeah, women and their mouse guns. One day I might carry it, because holy shit, such guns are so small they disappear. After that, to scratch that gun itch. I bought possibly the most famous DA/SA with safety, a Beretta 92FS. Yes, I've carred it IWB on several occasions. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be (as long as I use my gun belt), but still a very large gun. It's been relegated to home defense with a 30 round magazine. But on occasion, when I want to be Bruce Willis in Die Hard, I will take it out for the day.At this point, my next gun is for more home defense rather than CCW, because I have four carry guns, but I mainly bounce between the two HK's. I want a big gun, probably the USP elite, which is not made for CCW, but fuck it, if you're brave you can CCW anything.I know a lot of people will get one gun, like a G19, and never change. But I can't be the only one who didn't call it a day after getting my first gun, and kept adding guns to my CCW lineup. Anyone else? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3fjq6tE
