USPS Gave Me Firearm Without FFL? WTF?

CCW holder here in FL. I ordered a firearm online a few weeks ago that was supposed to be delivered to my go-to FFL. They were closed on the day of delivery (Friday of last week) due to Corona so I scheduled redelivery after the weekend on Monday...simple enough. After checking the tracking # countless times it was stuck in "in-transit" all week long so I went over to the post office today to see what's up. Long story short they found a package addressed to the FFL and gave me the package. I found this odd but took it nonetheless and started opening my new toy in the car (don't act like you wouldn't do the same) and quickly noticed the wrong gun was inside! I looked at the label on the package and while addressed to the same FFL, it was someone else's name! I went back to tell me they gave me the wrong package and after seeing the contents, they went back into the office and found my box, and gave it to me like nothing ever happened. My questions are as follows: 1) As a CCW holder, do I need to bother going back to my FFL to pay the fee? Obviously I don't want to do anything illegal. and 2) how the hell can the post office be so reckless after seeing there was a gun in the first box. I found the whole situation a bit odd and wondering if/what they did wrong and if there's anything I should do.edit: spelling via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2A7Ml5y
