So here's a story from about 30 mins ago which I had the pleasure of being the main character of.For some background I appendix carry a glock with an EXO holster.I was out jogging on some trails, having a great time. It was really nice finally being able to get out and get some exercise after being cooped up inside for the last few weeks because of everything that's going on. Of course while running I carry as well, because why would you not. Fast forward a few minutes and I'm about to jog past some people sitting off to the side of the trail, when I trip on a root or something and eat shit. Its bad enough looking like a fool in-front of others by tripping over yourself 30 feet away from them, but its 10x worse when your glock decides its time to join the party and decides to eject itself from the holster.I managed to snatch it up off the ground (my hand actually landed on it, trigger discipline is super important, possibly saved a nd), and then blade myself real quick and re-holster it while I feigned checking my leg out for injuries.I have no idea if they even noticed what happened, but the entire event was just a massive vibe check. I went home and straight away cranked down the holster to get much better retention. If they saw any part of it, they didn't say anything when I passed them after collecting myself.Just wanted to post my biggest ccw fuck up out there, as a sort of warning for others to check their holster retention, and also to see if anyone else has had a similar situation, or if I'm alone in this. Also I'm fine and the guns fine, I landed in some dirt/mud. Just a bit of cleaning and its fine. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3geEQe1
