Questions about eligibility obtaining a CCW in Minnesota

One of the things that i see on the Prohibition to own or carry list for Minnesota that i see:"Is, or has ever been, committed to a treatment facility as a person who is mentally ill, developmentally disabled, or “mentally ill and dangerous to the public,” or who has ever been found incompetent to stand trial or found not guilty by reason of mental illness, unless the person’s eligibility to possess a firearm has been restored."My Concern regarding this matter is.... I am on the Permanent Supportive Housing program (which i got on due to chronic homelessness in the past) and on my paperwork to the County (i.e., Hennepin County) to get on the program and remain on the program.... My Case manager checked the box which describes what kind of Disability i have as: a mental disability (as opposed to a physical disability) My Question is: Does that apply to me? My I.Q. is 130/200 , I've never been committed to a treatment facility as a person who is mentally ill, i am not developmentally disabled, i am not mentally ill to the point of being dangerous to the public, I have a clean record (ipsofacto, my record is squeeky-clean!), I've never been found to be incompetent to stand trial nor found not guilty by reason of mental illness. What do you think, does that apply to me? Will i be able to qualify to get a CCW permit or not? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2LJFn9y
