My “just as good” SD40 VE broke this week...should I go Glock or FN for my next compact?

Long story short, the frame snapped due to the guide rod hitting the slide lock lever.I have my options narrowed down to a Glock 19 Gen 5 and FN 509 Midsize. This would be primarily for home defense and the occasional carry. I have a Shield 2.0 as my EDC.Just looking for some pros and cons to both as I make my decision.
