Was up north shooting some .22 with my dad. Found a good spot with nice sight lines, good back drop and no people. Set up a target. Close, maybe like 5 yards just to function test. Target was also pointing towards ground.About 20 minutes of shooting, people drive by, ATVs, drive by. Even DNR officer drove by and waved, didn't say anything.This guy drove by in a red Ford. Was yelling form the car, I was kind of far away for I walked towards him cautiously about 8 to 10 yards out.-"Hey, what's up.""Y'all, can't shoot like thst."-"We got a good backdrop, rounds are hitting the ground.""Y'all need to shoot into a berm.-"Oh ok, well DNR just came by and didn't say anything."-"I don't give a fuck, if I catch a bullet on my atv, I'm gonna come shoot you in the dick."By this point I already have my hand near my appendix, he's facing me 90° inside his car, no way he practices shooting from his car at 90°. I'm squared up with his car door.Wanted to say "try it" but had to slow my brain down, shit can go 0 to 100 quick with ego."Ummmmm okay."He didn't know what else to say so drove off.
