How long do you suspect it'll take to get my gun back from detectives?

So a little back story, my gun was stolen from my car in April of 2019. I know stupid and irresponsible me, but I wanna shed a little light that the weapon was not used in any violent crimes. I usually don't forget it in my car, but I had an accident that day, needed stitches and by the time my pain killer wore off I was on my way home and I just wanted to lay down. So, I accidentally left my gun in my car and forgot to lock my car. Anyway, the gun was stolen, I reported it to the police. I think some time in September of 2019 it was recovered and the kid who had it was arrested. Then i think it December I testified (if you want to know how the kid was arrested, just PM me, this is long enough) and the prosecutor told me it may or may not go to trial. I haven't heard anything so I suspect the kid took a plea deal. So it's been 9 months since it was recovered. Any idea when I might get it back? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2Wd6G21
