Do you think S&W will ever release an optics ready m2.0 compact to the public?

I was browsing the S&W website and I saw they had LE only version of the m2.0 compact with suppressor sights. If this was released to the public, this would be the perfect EDC for me. It's strange to me they released a threaded barrel version to the public but not optics ready. I wonder if there is some weird laws/regulations that prevent them from selling their LE version to us plebs.Is there anyone with an ear to the ground with what might be coming for us?
