I'm looking for a concealed carry piece and I'm stuck between either a Ruger GP100 or SP101. I'm not a large person—5'6", ~150lbs, muscular build. I typically wear lightweight sweatpants/shorts and dont plan on changing up my style. I understand concealing an SP101 would be much easier but for some reason a revolver that holds anything other than 6 rounds is a huge turn off for me and I much prefer the availability of .38/.357 vs .327 magnum. The Kimber K6S appears to be a good middle ground and the TLE model is very sexy imo; however I'm aware that Kimber's quality control and overall reputation here is pitiful and I'd much prefer not to deal with that headache. Personally wouldn't mind paying the extra $ if their reputation was up to par with Ruger's.I'd also like my wife and I to share the same make/model for carrying and would change the grips out to accomodate if necessary. She is MUCH smaller than I am, if the stars align right on a certain day she might hit maybe 100lbs.Does the thought of me or my wife attempting to iwb conceal even a 3" GP100 sound ridiculous or should I just go for the 3" SP101? Don't want an LCR because I would also like a day at the range to be enjoyable. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2VGJ6cx
