I live in Northern Virginia, bordering DC and Maryland. Because of the fact that I don't have CCW in DC and MD, I always try my best to refuse crossing state border (it's a bridge across Potomac river to go to DC or MD)Though I work in Virginia, my company is headquartered in MD, and most of my relatives are in MD and DC (45 minutes - 1 hour driving). It is hard for me to come to company parties, events, or family gatherings in general.I know that both DC and MD are may-issue states and are much harder to get CCW compared to Virginia. I believe you even have to register the guns you carry. I do not own any property in DC or MD, so thay makes I guess it is even harder to get CCW there.I find myself in such occasions once every 3 months or so where I need to cross state border. If I can't decline, then I'll go unarmed and try to make the trip quick. What was your DC/MD non-resident CCW process like? Is it worth it for me to go through it with my situation in your opinion? What other alternatives are there that I haven't thought about? via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2VoFddr
