The attack on an Federal building in Dallas this morning has me thinking.

If you don’t know, this morning (6-17-2019), an individual by the name of Brian Isaack Clyde opened fire outside the Earle Cabell Federal Building in downtown Dallas, Texas. Nobody was injured, except the shooter, and it has me thinking. This local news station published a video showing the shooter firing on one side of the street, before running into a parking lot on the other side of the street and collapsing. At this point, Federal officers have opened fire on the subject and were in the process of neutralizing the threat. The entire time this video is being recorded, there is a white Dodge Ram pickup truck in the middle of the street. Seconds before the recording ends, the white truck is seen (and heard) leaving the scene. My question is, let’s say you’re the owner of a LTC and you are the owner of that truck. You’re caught in the middle of this dangerous situation and you’re trying to figure out what to do:1) Do you draw your weapon onto the single individual firing INTO the building and open fire, not knowing the context of the shooting?Or2) Do you stay in your vehicle, avoid involvement, and hope he doesn’t turn his weapon on you?I’m having a hard time figuring out what I would do. I feel like after witnessing the individual firing into the building, one could have a 90% clear idea of what his involvement is, and could engage the threat. But I’m not sure.P.S. Sorry for wildly rambling. via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2KUYyOx
