Howdy CCWersI recently picked up an lcp for the warm weather. I had been carrying a 1911 commander for about a year, but I have to dress around it too much to make it convenient. I have a kydex holster for the lcp as well as the picket holster it comes with. I used the kydex for a few days and it was comfortable and concealed, but I also wanted to try out to pocket holster for those times where I need to be extra concealed.I went out to dinner with my lovely bride to be but when we sat down across from each other, I realized there was a loaded pistol pointed right at her from inside my pocket. Now, I understand these things are very safe when holstered and everything should be fine if I’m doing my part right, but it made me very uncomfortable. I excused myself and unloaded the gun in the bathroom before putting it back in my pocket. Even if the odds are 1/1000000000000, I don’t wanna be the asshole who shoots my fiancé in the snatch while we’re out on a date.So my question. Is that just how these things work? Do I have to not sit down if I’m pocket carrying to avoid this issue? Or should I only sit across from my mortal enemy’s?Thanks! via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2wMMGpG
