Original LCP with a hot load in the pipe—any chance of an accidental discharge? Just as safe a Glock?

I have an original LCP with a quality kydex IWB holster. I have been hesitant to carry it with one in the pipe. The darn slide on that thing is so stiff. If I ever had to draw, rack the slide, well....I doubt that I could rack the slide in a life-death scenario, making my LCP no more useful than a small stapler. My main piece is a Glock 26. I do carry the G26 with a hot load in a vedder holster. I have done my research on Glocks, and I trust the design. Glocks won’t fire unless the trigger is pulled. Is the LCP just as safe as a Glock, meaning as long as the weapon is in a quality holster, and there is no movement of the trigger, then the LCP won’t go BANG?I would like to carry this little LCP, but I need some assurance that it is safe. Thank you all in advance. via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2Z3KHt8
