I live in Phoenix. A very popular shooting spot I visit goes through the Salt River reservation. After viewing their statutes, I found this section:Possession without a permit. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate, possess, receive, transport, or ship any firearm or ammunition within the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community unless such person has obtained a permit from the Salt River Police Department. Possession without a permit is a class B offense.In order to reach this shooting spot, you must drive through the Salt River Reservation on 87. As stated above, this is a very popular spot for shooters.Did these people get a permit or are they unlawfully transporting their firearms?
