Holster play?

Is some vertical play in a holster normal? I got a light bearing holster from Vedder for my 43x and there is a decent about of vertical play. If I tighten the retention screw anymore it puts the slide out of battery when being holstered. If I loosen it to where the slide doesn't go out of battery there is about an eighth to a quarter of an inch of vertical play. The gun definitely doesn't fall out but it seems loose. There is also wear on the slide already from holstering about 5 times, not that I'm really worried about that.But is this normal or should I see if they will make another one? via /r/CCW http://bit.ly/2VPc4sM
