Damage to gun due to sitting and or improperly carrying

Hi all! I have a somewhat noob question about firearms, particularly regarding my handgun. I’ve recently started carrying around the house so that I can get used to carrying in public, and I’ve come up with a concern or two.While I’ve found that carrying at 4-5 o’clock is comfortable for me, I worry that sitting down with my handgun on my ass may cause damage to it.Is this a reasonable concern?Thank you all!Edit: It’s an M&P 9c m2.0 via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2ApWgA6
