Question: To Switch Platforms or Not

Hey, all! First time here. I've been a long time CCW and am a prior service Marine. I had the privilege to train with some of the best operators before and during my deployments. That being said... I am just getting back into shooting after other life events have taken up most of my time. I have recently considered switching my three Glock platforms (43, 26, 19) to two platforms. I like the 43 and 26 for appendix concealed (it is hot and humid here most of the year), but I feel like they have too much overlap. Also, the Glock 19 is largely a bedside safe gun now for home defense as the longer grip makes concealed much harder than the other two.I have been considering reducing to two platforms and moving to another manufacturer(s). The EDC CCW replacement I have considered is the SIG P365, and the larger platform either a CZ P-10C or Walther PPQ M2.I won't own a platform that I can't run reliably and have proper manual of arms on and training with. That means all of my platforms need to be very, very similar (geometry, manual at arms, etc.).I will need to replace both platforms to be similar. I think my one exemption would be 1911/2011.Bonus round: SIG P365 & save my pennies for an STI 2011 TacticalWhat do you say? Worth the switch or hold what I've got? Any and all experience with these platforms you could share would be fantastic. via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/2TSRNi8
