A few hours ago (11pm) I was driving home on the freeway. Car in front of me on the freeway was going incredibly slow. I was down to 25mph to avoid hitting him. I was stuck behind slow car for almost a mile due to traffic going around 60-70mph and me having no way to get around as we were in the right lane. Car takes same exit as I, and is weaving up the ramp in front of me. Top of ramp has two left turn lanes, and one right turn lane. We each occupy a left turn lane. Light goes green, and car accelerates quickly to get in front of me then stops mid turn. I go around, and car then gets right on my rear bumper. I take note of make, model, color, and license plate. Car follows me on my next turn, one away from my neighborhood. I pull into a parking lot and car follows me in and parks at an angle to me, blocking my way out. I call 911. My carry gun is now in my hands, with my cell in the other. I inform the operator I want to report a car driving dangerously on the road. Give location, car leaves parking lot. I wait, updating operator on car movements. Car waits at a nearby stoplight through two light changes, then pulls a u turn and stops in the entrance of the parking lot. I inform operator that car has me blocked in, and the driver is staring at me. Operator asks about car, and I give info I memorized earlier. I'm told officers are on the way. Car then backs into street, goes to a different stoplight, and sits there. Light changes, car doesn't move. Light turns red, and car then makes right hand turn. I relay all movements of vehicle, as well as where I am to operator. After I lose sight of the car, I tell operator I no longer can see the vehicle, and am going to wait a few minutes before heading home. After being thanked by operator I hang up and wait 3-5 min and head home. Nothing came of it, but I was still quite nervous and was glad I had means to protect myself.TL:DR; car driving erratically, followed me, felt unsafe as hell, called 911, car left, I made it home. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2tzgPb6
