Is having my gun exposed (but out of sight) while driving illegal in SC?

I carry appendix and tuck my shirt or jacket behind the holster when driving. So I go from concealed to (technically) open carry within my own car when I get in. Open carry is illegal in SC just walking around but I'm not sure about within your car.The gun is out of sight from other drivers. The only time it would be seen is by someone coming up to my window (like a cop). Is this legal or illegal? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2k5PzsG
