My cousin from Colombia (the country) was visiting when my buddies came over for a casual night in and all 6 of us carry. We were talking about random stuff and as it does with us the conversation eventually led to guns. After a while of everyone talking guns, my cousin said "I've never really seen one or even touched a real gun" Concealing is very very illegal and mostly frowned upon down there for some reason. So I stood up and walked to the corner where he watched me disarm in a safe direction and came back to the table and handed him mine with the slide open and empty. He was in complete shock.By the end of the night we all disarmed and had him handle our weapons with a quick gun safety course snuck in through conversation. It was quite the education for him as to why we carry and what we carry. Went to range the next day after work. Completely hooked.Even the most serious subject can yield good times.
